What customers say about Peak PKC0BO 400-Watt Tailgate Power Inverter at amazon?

  • Used the inverter to pump up a large air bed; the truck had to be running to ensure enough power, but otherwise NO problems. Ran large laptop on the road, very quiet. Price verses watts I am very happy with the product.
  • This thing is big and clunky (simulates heavy duty?) with a fan that exhausts heat every 1 minute. Mine had a defective fan that vibrates the unit and creates an unusually loud hum every minute when fan turns on. The blue lighted “Peak” logo is so bright I could notice it in the backseat when I was driving in the dark. I was surprised the logo stays on even when you turn off the unit and serves no purpose except to advertise the logo. I wish it had a on/off switch. The USB is stated to be rated at 500ma each for anyone interested.
  • i got this from a local O’Reilly’s auto parts store for 42 bucks. i use it every day to continuously power a 12″ home theater sub at full blast in my car. this thing works amazing. i would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good inverter.
